Sala provided the sound effects for Hitchcock's The Birds, which is enough to make him a legend. I found this album the other day and it's proved to be the best thing I've heard all week - stunning electro-virtuosity indeed, perfectly executed/composed, but far from clinical. So whilst listening this morning I did some doodling, which hardly displays my virtuosity in that area, but since when have doodles been about that? Last time I looked the Sala album was available over here.
